Eternal Archives, Eternal Tales
What is a story without a place to hold its knowledge? Whether it exists in the mind, on the shelf, or through other mediums, stories exist to be enjoyed. Yet, every story must also be treasured. They are unique, precious, and utterly infuriating in a way that keeps you coming back for more. The Eternal Library just ensures they will always be one flick of a quill away.
What is the Eternal Library?
The Eternal Library is a vast, ever-expanding container of tomes that form living, breathing universes through the use of writing formed from Ink. These tomes are stored within archives that act as galaxies throughout the inky void. The Storyteller resides in this domain as each word is scribbled down to breathe life into the world it guides. No mortal should be able to arrive to this realm, but it isn't impossible if someone's story is given a chance to not be cut short... ...but only once, and it's quite rare.
What does the Eternal Library look like?
The Eternal Library contains tomes to take on the appearance of a dark, purple-esk library. Books and quills hover in the air, and there is the constant sound of pages flipping, words being written, and just the faintest hint of someone swearing in annoyance at random. However, the Eternal Library can adjust its form depending on the setting. For more fantastical versions of galaxies, the library takes on a more "medieval and magical" form full of books. Otherwise, more sci-fi-esk settings may take the form of a radio station as the tomes themselves take the form of drives containing chronicles of story and world information. However, no matter what form it may take, the library will always be the original form contained. Anything else is a mere illusion.
